How It Works
A clear model for donors, students, schools, and volunteers
Each participant has a simple role in keeping girls enrolled and progress visible.
Giving Forward’s proposed model is built around small, recurring contributions rather than dependence on a limited number of major donors.
1. Choose a monthly contribution, beginning at a suggested $10.
2. Contributions are combined to fund recurring family assistance.
3. Approximately 90% is proposed for program support and approximately 10% for administration, technology, processing, verification, monitoring, and reporting.
4. Donors will receive program-level updates and transparent reporting as these systems become operational.
5. Donations can be modified or discontinued in accordance with the payment platform’s terms.
Become a Monthly Donor
The planned program is intended for girls in India whose continued education is at risk because of financial pressures.
1. A participating school or authorized program representative identifies a potentially eligible student.
2. The family provides required information and consent.
3. Enrollment, attendance, and program eligibility are verified.
4. Approved monthly financial assistance is intended to be transferred to the student’s caregiver, preferably the mother or female guardian where practical.
5. Continued enrollment and attendance are periodically reviewed.
Giving Forward uses the term ‘monthly financial assistance to help girls stay in school.’ It is not currently presented as a scholarship program.
Partner schools are expected to provide local knowledge and verification while Giving Forward maintains independent program and financial oversight.
1. Express interest in becoming a participating school.
2. Help identify students who may be at risk of leaving school.
3. Support consent, enrollment, and eligibility verification.
4. Confirm attendance and continued enrollment periodically.
5. Help identify emerging risks and document program outcomes.
